These general terms of sale are agreed between Mitos & Narrativas, Lda., registered at Avenida Dom Manuel II, 2070, Loja 17, 4470-334 Cidade da Maia, Portugal, tax number 517 404 168, email geral@wineandbooks.pt, and persons purchasing through https://wineandbooks.pt, referred to as the User.

Purchases through this website are governed by these terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

These terms explain the ordering, sale, payment and delivery arrangements for products purchased through https://wineandbooks.pt.

They govern the purchasing process and order follow-up.

The User places an order by adding products to the basket and completing checkout.

Purchases may be made using a customer account or guest checkout, where available.

The User must provide the necessary billing and delivery details, select the delivery option and choose an available payment method.

Confirming an order constitutes acceptance of the prices, product descriptions and these terms.

Mitos & Narrativas will inform the User as soon as possible if an ordered product is unavailable.

The User is responsible for accurate billing details. Changes to tax documents are subject to applicable law.

If payment is not received within the stated period, the order may no longer be guaranteed.

Wine and Books offers the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include bank cards, Multibanco references and MB WAY.

Orders are processed according to payment confirmation and product availability.

If a paid product cannot be supplied, the User will be informed and offered the legally applicable remedy or refund.

Available delivery and collection options, costs and conditions are shown before order confirmation.

Dispatch or availability for collection depends on payment confirmation and the delivery times communicated during checkout.

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges, where applicable, are displayed before final order confirmation.

If a pricing error or unavailability occurs, the User will be informed and may accept an alternative or cancel the order with any applicable refund.

Cancellation, exchange or return requests should be sent to geral@wineandbooks.pt with the order details.

For distance purchases covered by the right of withdrawal, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt of the goods to notify their decision, subject to statutory exceptions.

Refunds are made in accordance with applicable legal conditions and deadlines, generally through the original payment method unless otherwise validly agreed.

Returned products should be handled with appropriate care. Any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning will be assessed under applicable law, without prejudice to rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.

Where an agreed exchange changes the original order value, Mitos & Narrativas will explain the price adjustment while respecting statutory consumer rights.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

Data is processed for the purposes and on the legal bases described in the Privacy Policy, including order management, legal compliance and, where applicable, authorised marketing communications.
